The 5.5kW AC/DC Solar Submersible Borehole Pump is a high-performance pumping system engineered for medium to large-scale water abstraction from deep boreholes. Designed around a high-efficiency brushless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), the pump delivers high hydraulic efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and excellent torque characteristics while operating directly from photovoltaic arrays or the AC utility grid.

The system is supplied with an intelligent AC/DC hybrid MPPT inverter/controller that continuously tracks the maximum power point (MPPT) of the solar array, enabling maximum energy harvesting throughout varying irradiance conditions. The controller automatically regulates motor speed according to available solar power and seamlessly transfers to AC mains whenever solar energy is insufficient, ensuring uninterrupted water delivery without manual intervention.

Manufactured using 304/316 stainless steel hydraulic components (depending on model), the pump offers excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and long service life under continuous operation. Precision-engineered floating impellers and diffusers maintain high pumping efficiency while minimizing hydraulic losses, making the unit suitable for deep borehole installations requiring high head and continuous-duty performance.

The controller incorporates advanced motor protection algorithms including dry-run detection, over-current protection, over-voltage and under-voltage protection, phase loss detection, motor overload protection, locked rotor protection, over-temperature protection, and soft-start functionality. Variable-frequency drive (VFD) technology minimizes mechanical stress during startup while improving overall system efficiency and extending motor life.
